Before you share anything, here is what we promise you — and what we ask in return.
Our promises to you
- We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. The biggest betrayal in health communities has been members’ stories sold out from under them. That will never happen here.
- Private by default. You’re a name only if you choose to be. Read as much or as little as you like — lurking is real membership, and there’s no pressure to post.
- Delete everything, anytime — for real. Your account, your posts, your history. One request, and it’s gone.
- You decide what you share, and with whom. Always.
- Visible moderation, honest uncertainty. You’ll see how this place is kept safe. When the science is unsettled, we’ll say so — graded plainly, never overstated. Verified practitioners are clearly labeled.
- Evidence beside experience. We hold both: the best available research and your lived experience, side by side. We will never call your experience “just anecdotal” — and we’ll never dress anecdote up as proof.
What we ask of you
- Share what happened to you — never instructions for someone else.
- Be kind. People arrive here tired, scared, and often dismissed by everyone else. Meet them the way you’d want to be met.
- When something here might be dangerous, we correct it calmly and with sources — not with pile-ons.
Imperium is a community, not a clinic. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it’s never a substitute for your own clinician. But within those lines — welcome. You can breathe here.
